We would like to thank everyone involved with the Inter-Dojo Cup.
There were 130 competitors and everyone showed amazing spirit. The technical standard was very high and it was amazing to see so many students willing to go out of their comfort zone and compete in front of such a large crowd!
Congratulations to Duke's Meadows for winning the Inter-Dojo Cup for the third time. Grove Park and St. Margaret's came in a close second and it is brilliant that all dojos managed to get a gold medal on the leaderboard.
We would never have been able to host this event without the hard work from all the officials, judges and student ambassadors. We would also like to thank all the parents for creating such a wonderful atmosphere and taking time out of your weekend to enable your children to be a part of this friendly tournament.
We hope that this tournament becomes a gateway for some to start competing in local and national tournaments. Sensei Tom is planning to start competition classes with a view to preparing students to compete in tournaments outside of our organisation and we will provide more details of these classes soon.
