I hope that many of you will have seen our recent post on the website appreciating the wonderful work of Sensei Alex and Sensei Aimee. If you have not already registered with our website please do so soon as we are planning to enable bookings through the website in the near future so all members will need to have a website account when this change is implemented.

Tora Karate Academy Friendly Competition:
I am pleased to announce that we will be doing a friendly competition with our friends at Tora Karate Academy in St. Mary’s University, Twickenham. This will be suitable for all students that are orange belt and above.
Venue The Performance Hall (Tora Karate Dojo) St. Mary’s University Twickenham TW1 4SX Date Sunday 13th November for KATA Sunday 20th November for KUMITE (sparring) Time: Registration 8:00am Opening Ceremony 8:15am Competition Starts 8:30am
Competition Ends: 11:00am Entry Fees: The cost of the competition is £20. You can enter both events for this fee. Spectator - Free entry
Registration:
We will be sending out the registration forms in another email soon. The closing date for entries is on Sunday 30th October.
Gradings: External gradings are necessary for students over orange belt unless they do their class as part of a school club. If your child is lower than orange belt, or if you do classes as part of a school club, they will do their gradings within their class and will not need to come to an external grading. The details of the next grading are as follows: Saturday 22nd October St. Luke’s House, 270 Sandycombe Road, Kew, TW9 3NP 09:30-11:30am - All grades We will be selecting students for this grading over the next week and you will receive an email if selected. There will also be a grading on Sunday 4th December. More details will follow soon. Upcoming Dates:
